HALL isn’t objecting to affordable homes.   

Firstly, the application isn’t for affordable homes.  It’s for 41 family homes with up to five bedrooms, plus four luxury detached homes. 

Secondly, even if the application was for affordable homes no Housing Association has expressed an interest and respect providers of homes for the elderly have told HALL that the site is totally unsuitable for homes designed for the elderly. 

If there was a need for affordable homes and there were no other alternative sites or solutions, for example conversions, HALL would of course review their opposition.
