We cannot be certain.  The quarry has been infilled with organic waste and the ground is made up of fractured rock.  The rock could form a pathway.  But we think it highly unlikely that it will be shown to present a significant risk. 

What may be a risk is any escape of contamination during construction finding its way into the river.
